Forums - Sales - Infamous: Second Son has over 600,000 pre-orders worldwide

So could the mass quantity of preorders be contributing to the stock problems? Ergo, is Sony dedicating chunks of each production run to meet demands on the bundle? I've no idea how that works, so this is merely a random question.

Most pre-orders come from the game and note bundles.

Sony already showed they will try to supply massively this early March.

Ok, that makes sense, but do you know how companies handle preorder bundles like that, post-launch?  I mean, they have to come from somewhere, so I assume they'd dedicate some of their weekly runs to filling whatever quota they want for launch, right?  Infamous and the PS4 aside, of course, this is in general.

I wouldn't get hopes up, I just learned the VGchartz is being more progressive with the times and now counts digital games with console sales. So that said, its going to be a big gap.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

That's wise of you. VGChartz has no plans to count digital, as they can't so far. Knack is the only exception so far, which is made very easy as PS4 sales in JAPAN = Knack sales.

i wont be pre ordering mine, i have £100 or so GAME credit and GAME shop price where i can preorder its going to be £54.99

online GAME price is £48

the snag being GAME dont allow you to preorder an unreleased product using your GAME account card to pay for it, so you are kinda forced to get the in store price. what i will do is make payment on release date then await delivery in post

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Just extending the same advice to my enemies that I follow. VGchartz did it with Knack, they can do it with Titanfall, even if they have to do a little guesstimates to seperate Titanfall bundles from other X1 sales.

Like gender/race/cival rights equality battles we face today, Vgchartz is taking progressive measures to reduce "digital games prejudice" :P

Doesn't seem entirely far-fetched

It seems like this will sell enough to make Sony a bit of money, but not enough such that they are forced into a sequel, maybe 2-3m. Over that and you probably want a sequel

But most importantly, only 15 days until I can play the game!

[yes, I know it's out before then]

insiderp lol

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

That's a lot!

That isn't a digital sale. It's either preinstalled on the machine or included in a voucher. That is a retail purchase and is thus, trackable. Download codes are not digital sales.
