I feel the need to attack people who act like dickheads. Consistently less than 50,000 in North America (not just the US) on a weekly basis, sometimes much less, while always being available should definitely be concerning since it's the only continent the console has any real footing in right now and is behind its biggest competitor that seems to keep selling out when everyone thinks it finally met demand.

It's also concerning that a $400 console is outselling a majorly hyped game which was supposed close the gap.

You know these aren't the Titanfall bundle sales right? lol those are for March 15th HW numbers.

I was referring to this:  Amazon Best Seller List

Oooh, well yeah, if its available it will sell. Titanfall has been constantly in the top 10 since the beta while PS4 drops and comes back every now and then.

So, that´s may be the reason Jack Tretton was removed, if you think XOne situation in NA is bad what would you say the PS4 situation be, as it´s 20% cheaper and can sell just 10% more?

First off, Jack Tretton wasn't removed.

And second, I'd like to ask you how Sony can possibly sell what they don't have?

XBONE sales are odd.

Do people just not know about the titanfall bundle? Why else would people buy the system today verse waiting two weeks and getting a free gotg game?

Eh, I'll wait for adjustments with this one. Lowering sales and then a huge bump after the 11th would just seem more realistic.

left by "mutual consent"

I wouldnt be too sure about that.

Perhaps he agreed to leave? Maybe he wanted to move on to other projects. Maybe he got the boot. Fact is, we don't know. So let's not spread misinformation.

The "normal" Amazon Bestseller list is a snapshot in time. The yearly bestsellers give a clearer picture (IMHO):

But, but...the console warz....FUD...What are we supposed to use as ammo in the virtual D**k meassuring contest if all we have to go on is actual information...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

This.  Whether you like him or not, he's done his job and been there since the begining of Playstation. After close to 20 years, a man has the right to move on in life without having to be forced or told to leave, especially since your now on top. People change over time and people move on. This forum should too, instead of speculating on something none of us are privy to.

That kinda proves my point though. Titanfall shot up to #9 in that list after 2 full months of not being in the top 20.

I'm not.  I am saying he left by mutual consent.

We dont know if he was fired or resigned, we dont know if he wanted to go elsewere.

We just know that the best case scnario is he apparently WANTED to leave and they were HAPPY for hm to leave him.  Thats what mutual consent means.

It could be either and no one except him and Sony know for sure. So saying he was "removed" or fired is just baseless speculation.

He's been with PlayStation for nearly 20 years, if I was him and wanted to move on to other projects, I'd leave right now that PlayStation is soaring high. It'll look much better for whoever hires him next.
