XBone way over-tracked here. No chance with the Titanfall bundle pre-orders it sold this much. They'll be huge adjustments after NPD, count on it.

I think you are confused...

No.  I know you are confused.

Nope.

Yes...yes you are.

Can you prove he is wrong? Or are you wishing him to be?

Can you prove he is right?  Or are you wishing him to be?

Can you say something that means anything expect for repeating what others say or just type one word answers than mean nothing?

I think what "whatever" means is that, why in the world would anyone buy an XBO right now for $499 when there's a bundle, being heavily pushed by MS and retail partners (BB, Gamestop, etc) that is also $499 and includes, arguably, the biggest 8th gen exclusive to be released this year and is coming out in 4 days? Why would anyone purchase a product and then pay another $60 for a game if said game is releasing in 4 days and is included with the purchase of the console at no extra cost? When you think about it, it makes sense. Unless pre orders where the product has already passed the POS are being counted. As someone said, NPD is soon and we'll know for sure in about a week.

It does make sense for numbers in the UK to go up considering there was a price drop this week. That is a bit different.

PS4 seems to have struggled a bit in the west due to supply issues.

I wonder how long this excuse will hold on.

OT: I thought XOne sales would suffer this week duo to the much more afordable Titanfall bundle... or is VGChartz counting then?

If not, we can expect 200k Xone for next week.

So you believe that Sony can only produce about 550k - 570k PS4s a month?

Well, if production started in september and sold 4,2mi by the end of december  then Sony can produce more than 1mi a month.

We are in the 7th month of production, so they would have more than 7mi by the end of this month. Would you think they will sell another 1mi this month?

If VGchartz are off the chart they will fix it later. No biggie...

We may see negative shipments for the 360 according to VGC in the next Microsoft financials.

The 360 shipped 2.9m for the quarter ending Dec 2013 for a total of 82.9m lifetime.

Pretty much all of them are still available apparently. 2.6m are still in supply according to VGC numbers.

I believe both the PS3 and 360 are undertracked here. I have a sneaking suspicion on the PSP as well, but not as sure on that.

And where are all these, extra and unsold, PS4 units you speak of?

Great, Vita still holding up. Selling more than X360.

Such an achievement.  Are you serious?

It's a great device but with sales scrapping the bottom of the bucket, Vita needs every victory it can get these days.

Distribution channels and smaller hard to track markets.

There is a very-very big inconsistence in VGChartz hardware and software numbers and Sony claiming 13mi games sold digital and retail is too low for such a success launch.

Not forgeting those sitting on scalpers closets?

Was this the price cut week from the UK? Seemed to have boosted sales by 3-4k in europe. Still miserable though.

The Xbox1 is becoming a US only system.

So very little to no stock for the one's trying to buy it? That's exactly what shortages mean.

Sony really needs to get more supply out, which seems to finally be happening. At least, it's finally been in stock on Amazon US. And I believe most European retailers had Mid-March as the date for new shipments.

My guess is, they've sold pretty much all their consoles and demand really overwhelmed it. The Japan launch probably didn't help either.

I can't wait to see what happens when they finally get steady supply out.

As for the US numbers, egh, X1 seems overtracked but we'll know eventually. Whether or not the X1 comes on top in March is completely dependent on whether or not Sony has enough PS4s to sell.
