I am guessing there is less problem with the X1 version since MS probably have tons of servers nearby :).

Why would they have tons of servers nearby  when X1 is not even available in South Africa?

of course you did.

You can always go back and edit your post if it was a genuine mistake...

I did? What´s up with the suspition?

Anyway, OT: That kind of sucks, you would think EA had the capacity to maintain servers in South Africa.

Even though you misunderstood I'm pretty sure MS has azure servers in SA... It being one of the wealthiest African country no matter what the pseudo omnipotent haters say... If there are big corporations around no doubt MS has servers close by... When it launches there they'll probably make room for gaming... Well azure will do it automatically no need for dedicated servers anymore...

Damn... Thats heart wrenching... But can't they just download it digitally from XBL?

No, there's no Xbox One in South Africa.

I thought PC was suppose to be using the same servers as Xbox One, or was that a lie too.

Edit i dont mean cross play, i just mean EA were going to use live servers this time even for PC version, some deal with MS

....AHOLE...hehe

One question from me, a technical illiterate:

Can a person in SA still import the game (buy a code, get a disc) and be able to connect to the server, or does this mean that as soon as the server recognizes SA IP address, they get blocked off from playing?

Because if it's the latter, I'm afraid this might snowball into other countries. I know a few of my friends in Croatia (which is not, and never will be, officially supported by MS) are looking forward to playing, but this could mean that their potential bad connection might block them from gaming.

I asked Gavin on LG (he's the editor), he'll have an answer on that next week, is what he told me.  I'll send the info along when I hear back from him.
