Hype talk for sure, but it'll probably be something cool. The hard part? 'Surprise'. There are leaks in Redmond, and they will have a hard time keeping this under wraps. :/

If it's something rumored then maybe Fortazela glass are real? Or something with the Oculus Riff. So 3D glasses.

They have been showing some illumi rooms stuff of late, perhaps that is back. But you are saying, "Zappykins we know it was canceled.' Yes, but may live on as something else.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

3.  Cortana all but confirmed via a leak last week.

So these all already happened.

Which MS phone runs Android? Nokia made one but MS doesn't own them yet.

If MS wants to get serious with the Xbox division, and their acquisitions/hiring/buyouts tell me they are, then they should just go all in and buy up a major player in gaming. I agree.  Now is the time.

Spending spree to leave the competition floundering would be amusing.

They won't spend billions on a division that makes little money for them. Perhaps if X1 sales were like the ps4 right now then they would have invested in a major studio to keep the momentum going but they won't spend billions aquiring something for division that shareholders don't even want

they technically do... the transfer of ownership has not been completed but the purchase has been finalized.... It's like me I signed for the purchase of a store location a few weeks ago, delivery is due in october but I am already technically owner of said location....

now whoo do you think developped all the windows related apps for that phone ???

anyway Nokia X are a piece of crap line of cellphones meant to be very cheap (below a 100 bucks)  low end terminals for emerging markets, it will run a fork of android.... like the kindle fire does... that phone won't sell in developped country if it even release there....
