Realistic.
That's the only style they could really after the tech-demo without disappointing people. Also, it's the only way to show the WiiU isn't a push-over and being that the realistic styled games easily sell the most, they need it to drive sales. It depends on the mood they're trying to make in the game though, so maybe it shouldn't need to be as dark as Twilight Princess's style, but I'd like anything above Ocarina's style.
Honestly, I'd prefer another stylized Zelda. Not Celda, but something really unique. I'm kind of tired of the push for realism and tend to find it incredibly bland.Would games like Okami be better if they stuck to the notion that realism is superior to stylization? What about Journey? Ni no Kuni?
I enjoyed Twilight Princess, but nothing aside from the Twilight realm really struck me visually. It was so... dull and drab. If they do go for the more realistic approach, I hope for less brown and gray, and maybe a more whimsical look like Trine 2. To be honest, it makes me sad that the fanbase is pushing so hard for a TP/Skyrim look-alike and disparaging the idea that they should do something new and unique, while in the same breath complaining that the series hasn't evolved at all.
Unfortunately, for the sake of the Wii U and the franchise, it seems the best option for Nintendo is to just give the fans what they want, even though I'm always of the mind that people don't truly know what they want until it exists for them. I didn't know I wanted a Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei crossover until that Direct. I also didn't know I wanted dual screens on my handheld until the DS. Sometimes it's hit or miss, like the Wii U, but the industry would be a lot worse off if no one ever tried to give us new and unique experiences, at least in my opinion.
I want the art style to be more realistic than real life.

My dear, show me the game that does what skyward sword does without a motion +. I'll wait.
I selected realistic but by realistic I meant the tech demo art style.
I don't care.
Frankly, the art style is the one thing I trust them to get absolutely right. Whatever they decide to go with, I'm confident it'll be something I'll appreciate.
Now if they can just whip the story and gameplay into shape. The last game almost had decent gameplay, but the motion controls really limited the whole experience, especially the combat. And the story was actually interesting, if terribly cliche, for the first couple of hours before the plot drove into a ditch.
A decent story, with decent gameplay, that's all I ask. The art style is the least of my concerns.
I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.
Realistic it would be nice to see, cuz im done with the franchise and im not gonna play it.
Nintendo has to make a Zelda with super impressive graphics in order to quash all talk about the Wii U being underpowered. Nintendo did this with Donkey Kong Country on the SNES at a time when the 32 bits systems started to come out.
