The point was that if you own a Nintendo console for Ninendo IPs you can still buy a PC, Sony Console, MS console to play games. If you just blame third paries and bitch about some agenda against Nintendo. Then you are playing a victim and not solving the problem yourself. People do this all the time here, and that message was aimed at the original poster, and anyone who refuses to buy from another company to play games.

26/36 of my Wii games are third party.

6/8 of my Wii U games are third party.

The term you are looking for is "primarily", as I have mentioned already, their are third party games that sell well on Nintendo systems, that most people seem to ignore intentionally. 2 of the top 20 N64 titles are actually third party titles (Star Wars: Racer: Episode 1, and Shadow Of The Empire). Rare was a second party anyway, as Nintendo didn't 100% own them (only 49% from what I heard).

Both Microsoft and Sony rely on third party titles more anyway. Sony has first party titles, but a lot of their best selling games have generally been third party, with Gran Turismo being the best selling in terms of first party titles (Microsofts is Halo).

Also Crash Bandicoot and Spyro weren't first party as Sony didn't actually own them. They don't own Tekken either (you should probably look at the pages for those games, before you post things like that, as VGchartz can post false information).

I'll admit my 3DS is primarily 1st party but my Wii U is similar to you:

True, which actually makes the 1st party games on PS1 fall below 10 for the top 20 titles, which only reinforces my point that there is a vast gulf betweenNintendo and other platforms when it comes to proportion that are 1st party and proportion that are 3rd party.

Sony and Microsoft really wouldn't be as successful as they were, if it wasn't for the third party support they had anyway.

Its true that Nintendo systems sell Nintendo games best, but I imagine thats because the primary gamers who buy Nintendo systems, have to come to expect quality from their ips first and foremost.

That doesn't mean third-party games don't sell well on Nintendo consoles (excluding the Wii-U), they just don't sell as well as they do on Microsoft or Sony systems.

no bro, i'm not ignorant to PC gaming.  i built my own gaming rigs for a while before jumping back into the console scence full time with ps360.  perhaps you've seen one of my many post referenceing my WoW addiction.    i just got tired of the all the maintance.  consoles are more convenient,..  don't even try to argue otherwise. 

Has badgenome made a joke about third partys beeing ahead of you and them beeing already done with the WiiU ?
