True. So, as long as I'm here I might as well vent my spleen about them, too:
I had a nice Drakengard 3 collector's edition all preordered, but then some jerk off stole my credit card number and used it for an escort service in Dallas. So my account was closed and I had to be issued a new card. But thanks to Square-Enix's Stone Age webstore not allowing you to change your credit card nor to manually cancel your order, I had to contact customer service to get them to cancel my order. And THEN because the collector's edition was now sold out, I couldn't reorder it and so I have to settle for a lame regular edition like some kind of fucking hobo!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD!!!!!!!!!! FUCK YOU, WADA!!!!!!!!

You're forgetting our sales tax is much higher, so although the console may appear cheaper when you convert the prices of games sold in Canada to US dollars, we pay more or around the same as them in the end (for everything). Almost everything is cheaper in the US.

FFXIV is amazing now. They completely fixed it.
OT: I think there's a million better reasons why SE sucks. For example, where in the world is my DQVII localization? Why did they reveal VS XIII years before it had even gone into full production. Why do they keep shoving Lightning down our throats? Where is the FFXII HD remake? What about Dissidia 3? Why does the new Thief look so terrible? Why is there a Deus Ex game for mobile phones? Where's Just Cause 3? And WHY did they make Final Fantasy All the Bravest?

Yeah...that big one of health care is a real pain though. Be happy to pay a bit more on games and all as opposed to having to spend $160 a month for basic insurance that covers next nothing so a single hospital visit could easily be in thousands. There are trade offs in any society.

Then they don't suck. ffxiv is amazing, clearly you haven't played it yet. The battle system and music of LR is great too.
