i think it would be a very bad idea and i hope it doesnt happen. also i hope other japanese companies dont follow suit either. it would be very bad for the industry if one console gets virtually everything only on their system and the others get just the crap left over. if people cant see that, then they most certainly want another video game crash as well, because that would happen.

PS3 got the great majority last generation and the PS2 absolutely got everything that wasn't developed by Nintendo. This isn't a new scenario.

Probably right now. Arc system works and Aksys games has already done it with Blaze blue.

Anyway, A new Ninja gaiden is only thing i want from Team ninja. And they should back to Ng1 and Ng2.

Just a heads up. The article is quite old, and they didn't hint to a DOA5 port. They just said that they are developing a PS4 game.

There's also absolutely no hint to exclusivity.

PS2 era basically had a monopoly yet there were a multiple of genres that sold well. Microsoft comes in and jrpgs, platformers, adventure games, and many other sp games all get shafted for mp fps garbage and those genres are dying because of MS. I hope the ps4 gets another ps2 like monopoly so ps fans can go back to ps2 era gaming with multiple genres of aaa games and see a rebirth of Japanese games. Japanese devs. just need to say no to ms and xbox.

FOr games that mostly sell in Japan maybe, but anything expected to do well in the west will be multiplat.  Some games from last gen stopped getting japanese 360 releases, despite being multiplat and released worldwide.

Yes, but that is in a 50/50 market. Theres no reason to believe thats what were getting again.

I enjoyed DoA 5 even if new characters were a mixed bag, I loved Mila but hated Rig. Like many fighting games I passed on the "Super" or "Ultimate" edition. However, if they did one with all the DLC and full character roster on PS4 I would go another round.

I know this is just your opinion but please, if you are going to make statements like that can you at least back it up.  How you find a way to blame MS for killing JRPGs, Platformers and adventure games I really would like to know?
