I think you missed my point. I was referring at the impact i was left while playing that game and not solely from a technical standpoint. Why it scored 100% for me. Also it is mentioned on the OP: rate the best game you played. And for me it's FFX and as an experience i award it 100%. The best game i played:)

100% is absolute perfection, though.

Are you saying that you think Final Fantasy X is a perfect videogame, that cant be improved upon?

If you want to be literal like that, what does 99% mean?  That the game was 1% away from perfect?  That if it had 1% better voice acting it would be perfect?  That you mechanically and scientifically measured the game in comparison to what a perfect game would be and found that it fell a mere 1% short?  Is a game that scores 50% halfway to perfection?  Was a game like Amy 40% or the way towards perfection?

Reviews are not a perfect science.  They are subjective and imprecise by definition and they only have meaning in the context of other games.  Don't take them so literally.

That being said, Mega Man 2, Super Mario Galaxy, and Smash Bros Brawl were 100/100 for me.

This Sir got my point!

I just think there is no game that can be defined as perfect. 100/100 means that there is no room at all for improvement, yet it gets thrown around and stuck on so many games that can quite clearly be improved in some way, shape or form.

Maybe Im being picky.

If that's your opinion, that's fine, but I don't believe that's how reviews work.  I don't think it's possible to measure the objective quality of a game that precisely.  I think reviews don't show how good a game is compared to perfection, but how good a game is compared to the rest of the games on the market.  To me, 100 means "I enjoyed this game as much or more than any other game I've ever played".

(.)S dont count.

Dissidia Duodecim: 98/ 100

Duodecim sold me on Lightning. Before, from XIII, I didn't really like her. Her performance here, though, was leaps and bounds above what I expected.

The Dissidia gameplay was moderately improved by adding assists, as you can use them offensively or to defend your health and bravery, but the real kicker was the story. Dissidia's story was "meh +" but because it was a cheap fanservice game, no one cared.

I was astounded at how well Lightning worked as the party leader in Duodecim, though. Especially when--after the party is unified and going on their mission--they were still willing to show how stress was getting to Lightning, and she almost gets violent with Vaan right before the climax. That's not stuff you see in a typical JRPG. Usually once the party's united it's flowers and blue skies from then on, not death threats right before the climax. Yet it makes perfect sense for the characters and context.

Then the end happens. Apparently a heartbreaking TPK ending after a string of bosses wasn't enough, because the ending also explained Dissidia's cliche "a hero wakes up" beginning. Now you're just showing off.

The only fault was that there wasn't enough party combat to enjoy the round-robin format, and it's clear the UMD was limiting the game.

Super Metroid: 100/100

Polished to almost perfection and endless replay value, honestly it's hard to pick out what I didn't like about the game.
