Im not asking what caused you emotions. Im asking you if you think that there can be no improvements made to Final Fantasy X.

Ofc there can be improvements! On a technical level that is. But what im trying to tell you is that tech isnt necessarily (for me) the reason that ill award a videogame 100%

So when(if) these improvements hit, and the said improved game is undoubtebly a better product than the original X... Will you still rate them both 100%, despite one version being a far superior product?

100% is absolute perfection, though.

Are you saying that you think Final Fantasy X is a perfect videogame, that cant be improved upon?

If you want to be literal like that, what does 99% mean?  That the game was 1% away from perfect?  That if it had 1% better voice acting it would be perfect?  That you mechanically and scientifically measured the game in comparison to what a perfect game would be and found that it fell a mere 1% short?  Is a game that scores 50% halfway to perfection?  Was a game like Amy 40% or the way towards perfection?

Reviews are not a perfect science.  They are subjective and imprecise by definition and they only have meaning in the context of other games.  Don't take them so literally.  

That being said, Mega Man 2, Super Mario Galaxy, and Smash Bros Brawl were 100/100 for me.

No, the original still would be better cause i have already experinced it. Take for example all the HD remakes that are out on the market. I recently re-played Okami HD on ps3. Although technically is a better game, it didnt have the same impact on me as the original experience i had on ps2. Same goes for the likes of Ico/shadow of colossus. Do you get my logic now? The HD remake of FF10 that will be out. Will i rate it 100% again? probably not. Cause i already know/experineced what happened back then. But as a game on it's original release, that is a 100% for me, despite the fact if it gets upgraded on a tech level
