If the PC version sold that well in the EU , than so could the PS3 version ... this is great . I was worried about this game a bit :?

 Bealive me , thats impossible . UT sold much less than Uncharted . And that game is still just over one million ...

 actually, working at bestbuy, we sold more UTIII than Uncharted. I won't say it's "impossible", it's just not likely

 

after all, FPS game still rules in NA, not to mention a proven IP vs a new one (uncharted)

The article says PS3 only ,but it must be a mistake .It must be PC NA+PA EU+PS3NA and shipped not sold ....In any case it could be somewhat undertracked in vgchartz numbers ...

Yes, certainly PC WW + PS3 NA, but still impressive sales for UT, UT 2003 was one of my favourite PC games so pleased to this do well. As for low UT3 PS3 sales for NPD December, the game only just managed to get released before Christmas, and was only available in limited quantities, so it quite possibly sold more in January than in December, but didn't chart. I'll hunt out the numbers, we should be able to put an upper and lower limit on US sales.

NPD Dec: 113K
NPD Jan: <133K

10th in Jan chart was DS Mario and Sonic at 133K, so we know UT3 PS3 sold less than this. So up to the end of Jan it had sold less than 246K in US, add 10% for Canada (I know it won't actually be 10%, but it's close enough for a rough estimate) and that gives less than 270K in NA through January.

If it did sell more in Jan than Dec then it wasn't by very much.

We also have PC November sales:

NPD Nov: 33K

From these sales I'd say most UT3 sales up to now have been PAL PC sales.
