Hunting for Achievements intrigues me as much as a finding a bear for sex so Majority of the time, I do not look for achievements but I had to look at a guide once a while for some odd occasions (mostly puzzle games)... Usually the only time I watch a Lets Play is after I already beat the game and I want some awesome commentary which I will go to SSopKC

That's a shame, though. If taken the necessary precautions, sex with a bear can be very gratifying.

Is the bear on top?  Or is it on bottom or... is it slightly to one side?

Depending on the position, it could be very amazing or just meh amazing.

Well, I've only tried with the bear being on top.

Mhmm, maybe I was doing it wrong after all! The issue with me is always the bear hug, the claws goes too far into my spine and it hurts too much and potencially disables my physical movement and believe me, you do not want to stop moving while bear sex, once chance and it will eat you.

i look at the trophy guide before even buying the game i have very few games that aren't %100 if theres a game that im only semi interested in the trophy list can make or break it as far as purchases go

when i look at a walkthrough not as often only if im stuck for more that 1/2hr or so collectables guides are mandatory for me as i want to do the least amount of playthroughs as possible

So what sort of trophy would make the game a no buy for you?

After the first play through and mostly for collectibles.

ever play a game where you wish you had looked at a guide first so you wouldn't need to replay it?

i used to be real OCD with trophies/achievements when they first came out but as the last gen progressed i learned to just enjoy the game

its not really just one or two as that would still give me a high % and it also has to do with how interested in the game im in, if im not that interested in it but is a easy and fast plat i'll play it

the trophies i hate are the online ones that require more than one player on yout team to get and ones that require alot of time like reaching the higest rank in MP theres also a few MP ones that are luck based basically i dont like online trophies that are out of my control

i can tolerate most all SP ones and trophies have made me replayed games at the highest difficulty which i enjoy doing in most games, previous gens before trophies i would only play the SP on normal and be done with it so i do get more replay/chalenge out of it

Usually after the first playthrough as i tend to do a collectible run on hard on my second playthrough. But if its a game i just want the plat for like Killzone 1 (which i'm currently playing) i look at the guide before starting to understand what i have to do to finish it as quickly as possible.

Depends on what you mean by a guide ...

I usually check the roadmap on ps3trophies.org to see what I am getting into at least. Is a nice first step since they typically warn you about missable trophies and other difficult trophies that would require multiple playthroughs if you screw something up.

As far as physical strategy guides go, I mostly purchase them for their collector value now (hardcover versions etc). I almost never use them to help me with a game.

i aint a trophy hunter.but a completionist hunter.i try to make the most % out of a game that i love.(like bully is 100%,sleeping dogs is near 100,guacamelee i am trying to do more etc).i never look at a guide for collectables but for hard parts in the main story.i prefer ign wiki.

its hard to imagine the serious trophy hunters with masses of platinums don't look at the roadmap first otherwise they might have to redo a whole game for one little thing, how much time can people have

I look at them even before starting the game, that is one of the reason why I hate trophies, those ruined some games for me, but my OCD won't let me do it otherwise
