FPS.

A couple years back I was very much into FPS, climbed to the top of my favorite FPS/Simulation game, and found that there was nothing left to do really.  I still love that game, but I don't really play it or FPS games much anymore.

I enjoy at least a couple of games from pretty much every genre, but my least favorite would have to be a tie between "open-world" games (i.e., GTA) and Final Fantasy clones (distinct from your average JRPG in that they're overly heavy on story and cutscenes with simplistic, too-easy combat.)

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

"Mature" games for 13-15 year olds.

Those games are for mindless, brain-dead gamers. I will never understand why people would like Crackdown over Mario or Zelda.

woo-hoo, see what I did

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Because people have different tastes in games than you do and because Crackdown is a good game?

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

i might get attacked for this but my least favorite is rpg

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

Least Favorite: RPG
Genres I like: Casual, RTS, FPS, MMO, Strategy, Sim, Puzzle
Genres I don't particularly like: Action, Adventure, Fighting Games, Rhythm, Third Person Shooter,  Flight Sim,  Sports.

Examples of what "casual" are as there really isn't a great label for these yet: Endless Ocean, Wii Sports, and likely Wii Fit.
