Well if that's the case then why dont people stop with the Nintendo doom threads? That is if they know business and how video game company's make their money, which is off software not the hardware. Hardware will always lose the company money for the first 2-3 years its released. So all you Sony FanBoys praise your hardware domination, and Nintendo will just keep making games everyone wants to play.

Mine prediction was Pachter quality. At least my lowest named number was 330k

Still good numbers, I wonder what the software ratio will be, PS3 was under 1.0 iirc.
Now the waiting game for Japanese. First new game (Ground Zeroes?) in almost a month, right?

 

Ohh and now back to going through Zero999 posting history to find the comment about PS4 never outselling Wii U, damn I hate this...



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Wouldn't be surprised if PS4 sold along similar lines to Wii U in Japan, if indeed the home console market is shrinking a lot in Japan then PS4 should not see high weekly numbers once things settle down.

I thought people here here were expecting something like 700k to 800k first week, that was my bet....

And if it´s soldout since Saturday it won´t go much more than 400k, or I understand it wrong.

Question, Why Sony would reserve so few units, they clearly can produce enouth if we belive their reports.

I was expecting greater sales. I'm not that confident the Japanese market will embrace PS4 as much asy the western market has.

What did PS2 do in its first two days? I know Wii did 370k in its first two days so that is pretty close.

Good launch.
Not as strong as some people believed, similar numbers to the latest home console launch there (WiiU), but good anyway.
It seems that some people will wait until the launch of Kingdom Hearts and Metal Gear Solid, among other games, to get their PS4

Damn I was in another universe with my 600k week 1.
Figured Sony shipped more than 500k.
Anyhow, with this and WW numbers for week ending 2/23 PS4 takes the lead by 50-70k over WiiU.
