Guys, it doesn't matter whether (wow, haven't used that word for a long time!) you buy digital or physical. It takes up the same amount of space. Every game on PS4 and X1 is installed completely. Yes, really, every single one. No exceptions.

With few plans of purchases in the near future, I'm doing just fine.

I have a Wii U, and thus far, not much. I still have a majority of my native (deluxe model) memory left, and I have an old 80gb hard drive waiting in the wings whenever I might need it. Thing is, I'm not going to be downloading any retail titles digitally. To me, it just isn't worth it to download something THAT big, taking up that much space. I'd rather just buy the disc, own the game physically, and pop that fucker in and play (after any mandatory update which is an unfortunate part of modern console gaming, that is).

The only digital games I'm going to be downloading, are eShop only titles. And considering there are many being made and eventually coming to Wii U, there is a strong chance that I will be running out of system room sooner than later. So it's good I have that HDD handy. However, I think 80 extra gbs is more than enough for the long-haul, so long as eShop only titles don't make a habit of being many gigs large.

got about 3GB storage left on my WiiU internal storage, but have a 1TB external drive so will be fine for a good long while.

Used 16GB out of 32GB.

So used 50% in 15 months. Should be fine for a while yet, especially as I never download full retail games.

Edit: Not looking forward to getting a PS4 and wasting all that space on mandatory installs.

Only next-gen I have right now is WiiU, I don't think I've used much more than 4GB of the 32, so probably about 28GB left. Did have to swap the standard 2GB SD-card in my 3DS for a 16GB one though, but I still have at least 12GB left on there too.

I'll never get how people fill up their hard-drives so fast, or at all really, I've also never even filled up my 60GB PS3 ...

For my Xbox one i have about 185Gb left. Used up 45%ish. I have Ryse, killer instinct ultra edition , titanfall beta, crimson dragon, NBA 2K14, Powershot golf, DR3, Forza and the skype app.

For PS4 i hav about 200gb left. I have KZSF, Need for speed , contrast, don't starve , resogun black light retribution beta, DC universe MMO, Outlast and FFXIV beta from memory.

Got 50% left.

All ps4 games even when pysical copy ,, requires mandaory install before playing it sadly.
