His point was Sony is and was out still supporting ps3, while ms abandoned 360 long ago. look at ps3 2013 and ms 2013, it wasn't even a contest. Based off the game libraries the ps1,2, and 3 had, it's laughable to think the ps4 library won't be superb.

The Playstation 3 was in an objectively worse position than the Xbox 1, by a Company whose Assets are dwarfed by Microsofts. Sony's exclusives and studios pulled it up to tie the 360 which had a 1 year lead. Unless it has suddenly lost the capability to do what it did last generation there is no reason to think other wise. Playstation != Xbox and they are not interchangeable. Playstation also owns alot more ips and studios then Microsoft, so unless you started gaming in November, there is no reason to think Xbox will have more exclusives.
Ryse | MS IP by Crytek (3rd party)
DR3 | MS IP by Capcom (3rd party)
Forza | Ms Franchise (2nd Party)
KI | Idk but its outsourced too
Also the whole "no games" is not only a worthless argument but its blantant fanboyism. Every console has had games at launch. News Flash: Even Knack has a fanbase (even though is widely considered as a poor launch exclusive. Don't bother using it.

I think it would take a miracle for Wii U to outsell the N64 at this point. PS4 is going well above 50 million+ at minimum.
I also think Mario Kart Wii's sales were inflated a lot by the Wii Sports casual audience. NSMB as well ... and we've seen on Wii U, NSMBU couldn't cut the mustard as far as driving hardware sales to a satisfactory level.
Mario Kart 8 will do well, but it will also likely even out again to N64/GCN like levels, the casual crowd isn't paying $300 to play that again when there is no new craze/fad/hook on the Wii U. Most of them don't even know the Wii U is new system, lol, and even less want a new console period.
The people who want a new console are very clearly core/hardcore gamers, Sony was smart in realizing that and making a console tailored to that audience. Nintendo just misread the tea leaves entirely.

It is not blatent fanboyism. Wii U had no games in the beginning too. It's just an exaggeration. But whatever, you're clearly a Sony fanboy yourself, so you've no room to talk. Look, I like Sony, you don't need to defend them from me. I'm just not an optimist.
Also, as far as I'm concerned, if it's an MS IP, it's 1st party. Nintendo has outsourced Zelda and Mario before. Does that mean that Minish Cap, Luigi's Mansion 2, Ocarina of Time 3D, and the like are 3rd party? Of course not. Sony outsources a lot too. You're just twisting the words to support your argument.
no. just no wiiu is a 20-30M lifetime console ps4 is at 5M in 5 months
once the ps4 passes it globally next week its over it will never get the lead back i'll bet anything on it then xb1 will set its sights on it
even the xb1 has no shot b/c it can only really just combat with us and uk which as of now is behind week in and week out even if it starts selling better it will only be in those regions and will only be equal or slightly ahead in just those two regions thats not enough

I'm not defending Sony, I'm correcting you.
To suggest Sony, wouldn't do what they did in the previous generation with the new console is baseless, and every console has games on launch. You can't just ignore them because you don't like them. That's an insult to both the developer and the fanbase.

I DO like them. But you obviously aren't listening to me.
As I like Nintendo, and loved N64 and GC, I would say no chance on earth. PS4 is outselling WiiU right now as global hardware sold, and it will never look back.
