Whenever I see Groose's face, I'm reminded of Khuutra. Stop it, people. Stop!
Anyhow, this would show that Nintendo seriously is confused on how to handle this whole Wii U ordeal. They've already released a remake of a Zelda game in hopes that it would probably help as much as OOT 3D did, but it didn't.
Would I be okay with this from a gamer stand point, though? Yes.

Majora's Mask's appeal is hard to guage due to the required peripheral. Similar to Skyward Sword, in a way. Both came late in their console's lives with very little else supporting the console at the time (though N64 had a better last year than either GC or Wii) and required a peripheral to function.
I'd argue that the game has a lot that could really sell, namely the focus on building a living, breathing world, and the three-day system hurting the game's linearity (though it was still linear in the end). The game could do well to appeal to modern action-adventure fans who crave something more along the lines of a Skyrim or GTA. Majora's Mask is the Zelda that was closest in that direction.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

This is coming out of the blue. I think Aonuma laughed cause MM is beeing ported to the 3DS.
Zelda Wii U will be a completely new entry.

I understand that you're talking about a sequel, but the closest Nintendo will get to that is a MM remake. I seriously doubt they'd bank on MM's popularity carrying all the way through to a sequel on the Wii U.
Do you expect this to Aonuma's big Zelda game or a side thing?

Because the idea of an MM sequel would appeal to exactly the same group as those who bought WW HD.
If it happens I hope this matches this fan made trailer. Many got confused. But in the end it was proved to be a fan made trailer.
