This would be due to programming error when developing the PS4 version.

While one console is easier to program for than another it does not mean that mistakes can't be made while programming one console that are avoided on another.

If two people score an 90% and a 60% on a test that does not mean the person scoring 60% did not get a question right the person scoring 90% got wrong.

Strider also was nowhere near to tapping the power of either the Xbox One or the PS4 like games such as Metal Gear Solid and Thief do while at 1080p.

I would be very surprised if the Xbox One had not outsold the Saturn's lifetime sales by the end of the year and then some.

The developer has been bought by Amazon so I doubt they'll continue legacy support for this now :(

PS4 is a superior piece of hardware and this little game proof nothing.  But of course all X MS fans are coming here talking non sense. The truth is in the hardware, PS4 is simply better.   OMG people live with that, One is a weak piece of hardware.

Both consoles are weak considering this is what we waited 7/8 years for. XB1 has the better exclusive games though and at the end of the day that is what I look for in a console. Titanfall, Forza 5, Halo 5, Halo 2 Anniversary, Gears 4, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Project Spark, and Forza Horizon 2 is a much more appealing lineup than Infamous, The Order, and Uncharted 4 which is about all Sony has announced for retail exclusives.

You are aware this game came out before games such as Metal Gear Solid Ground Zero, Thief, Witcher 3 and Watch Dogs that actually take advantage of next generation hardware. 

Strider does not come anywhere close to tapping next generation consoles and most likely failed to perform on the PS4 due to a programming error and not the console itself.

Look almost identical to me.
Apart from the Xbox ones much darker output
