I play games, not polygons! :P

My thoughts exactly. Unless we spend more time looking at the characters in cutscenes than actually behind them I can't see the point. They need to keep dem cloth physics though, they look amazing!
| dane007 said: @Aerys,, That gameplay of few seconds wasn't enough . From what i saw,, to me looked different to Pics that were posted as the environemtn aroudn them had higher quality environments. The leaked video that was released that showed that texures were lacking especially with the wall textures looking flat. Agian based on few seconds ,, th epics an dteh gameplay graphics didn't match. However theres time and i hope the graphics at release is better than those pics so i can be proven wrong lol :P |
Not all the textures were perfect, obviously, that was expected from a game releasing in 8months , but still, the game is already astonishing , the models, animation , lighting and soft body physic(little example on character clothes animation) are already beyond everything we saw before.

Seems the polycount has increased by around 3x the last few gens, The Order 1886 is looking absolutely fantastic and this is just the beginning...

100% agreed with this, those textures were just depressingly underwhelming.
The animations looked fantastic, but beyond that there was nothing evenly remotely justifying 30fps at sub 1080p. Killzone looked way, WAY better in every single regard at a higher resolution AND framerate.
Far better color, too.

What ? You're an insider too !? :o
