00:00 22 Feb. I live in nearly the only country that is ahead of Japan's timezone and it's 10:30AM 23 Feb here. So it's still several hours short of 36 hours since launch. And in terms of standard retail days it's still only been 1 day in Japan. But stores should be opening soon for day 2 to begin.

How the hell to up to 54% of people (or more) not buy a game with their PS4. I suppose if you plan to get your first games off PSN or PSN+ instant game collection then you'd not bother with a disc based game. This suggests software numbers for PS4 on the traditional charts are going to be so inaccurate due to the amount of digital sales.

I have had a feeling all along that Japan was going to be heavily digital. That is why I have never taken the pre-order numbers to mean anything for PS4. When you figure only 3 - 5GB's are required to start playing a game, and the speed of internet, they will be playing a game in a matter of minutes. Japan is one place an all digital console would probably be very successful.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

Many people will get a ps4 just because it's cheaper then ps3 and many some are happy with knack and don't other games to play at launch.

bundles

Oh so they aren't counting bundled games in the tie ratio then? That makes the numbers make more sense, but it actually doesn't accurately reflect game ownership rates. If I have Knack and no other game then my tie ratio is 1. It doesn't matter whether I bought the game separately or as a bundle.
