Sony practically had to pull all the stops for that to work. It wasn't until the PS3 slim with decent games that Sony started doing acceptable numbers. The 3DS is also another exception too seeing as how Nintendo had to do practically the same for it. 

What image? The image of a console that's selling really really well even in the face of a contracting console market? Why would they want to change that image?

I guess we should be happy a sucky rpg outsold a good one... Some people are just too blinded by being a fan of a system brand rather than good games.... I've played the lightning series and it's bad, and that's why sales are way down on their flagship series. Bd will sell pretty well in the end. "Let him be excited for the worst final fantasy ever, he's almost the only one.

XIII-2 was massively overtracked at launch on VGC, I'm willing to be the same is the case for LR as it doesn't really follow the trend LR showed in JApan.

Yes the PS4 is undertracked, it's a reality we don't like so let's make up our own. Can you add some imaginary numbers to this?

It's far from selling well and this week just showed that's it's doing half decent. Just because one image looks better than the other doesn't mean that it will end up doing well. Sony still hasn't made the image yet for the PS4. It will only be until a year that it really starts to get a picture in the consumers eyes.

I'd prefer postponing that by buying FFXV, the game I wanted since 2006 and which had to take the backseat twice already because of XIII-2 and XIII-3, instead of encouraging SE to make more games in the FFXIII universe which me and alot of people are sick and tired of, I still can't believe they wasted a whole console generation on this.
