Except that the touchpad is nearly identical to PC laptop touchpads, so games can be designed for mouse w/ touchpad as backup on PC,
and directly translate to a PS4 game with every player ensured to have at least a touchpad, with full mouse/keyboard support like PS3.
Merely supporting mouse/keyboard doesn't ensure that all players will have that, thus a backup input method is needed,
with touchpad, it is basically in the same position as PC laptop touchpads, and even if not AS optimal as a mouse,
it's sufficient to allow games to be designed around an imput method where mouse/keyboard takes prime spot.

Go on then continue. I've already explained to you why Sony's financial situation kept them from taking the same risks as Microsoft. Any rational being would understand that. In fact I'm sure you do but you are continuing to argue for some reason.

the video didn't say not that they won't fail
the guy doing video said " sony cannot fail with the ps4. it won't fail or cannot fail or less tehy are screwed. This is basically what Andrew House says" . Thats teh exact vwords that came straaght from the beginning of the video. I know what sony tryign to say but thast not what the video said . nice try :)

No, the video says the right thing.
Listen carefully, it says "So Sony cannot fail with the PS4. NOT that they won't fail, but they can't fail...". The NOT makes it pretty clear.
Two of us tried explaining to you. I'm not sure if you "can't comprehend", or "won't comprehend", but whatever.

Then you are pretty death and should get your hearing cheked as i put th evolume on full blast and replayed and not once he said the word not. heck if you google hes saying you will find it and he said "House firmly believes the PS4 can't "fail"
