Five reviews 90 or above. Five reviews in the 80s. Six reviews of 70 even. So scores are kind of all over the place. Still, that 60 is pretty out of the whack.

I clicked on one of the 70 reviews, and the review starts off bitching about Nintendo making yet another 2D platforming game for the Wii U. I would not be surprised if most of the low scores just don't like the genre.

And a lot of times they don't understand game mechanics, Which I don't applaud.

I can share your sentiments. It'd be nice to see more reviewers remember that the scale goes below 7 though.
