We know that Lightning is an extremely popular character, even when compared to other Final Fantasy characters.

So there is a possibility that Lightning would appear in other future Final Fantasy titles, not as a protagonist, but as a guest character.

Lightning is NOT an extremely popular character. That's main reason they keep shoving her down our throat

- She was always the person doing the fancy overdramatic shit in xlll
- She a super warrior in xlll 2
- a Messiah role in xlll 3
- xlll 3 battle system is designed just focus how cool lightning is
- gets propelled for some reason to lead character ahead of everybody in dissidia 2

They are doing everything possible to make her cloud level popular, but watching paint dry is better than watching Lightning. Even Squall gets better towards the end.

SE need to just let FF XIII remain in the past and focus on bringing the series back to its roots... The games have not been the same since FF X... The story of IX was the best so far IMO and the world was massive!!! (I secretly just want airships back...)
