Forums - Gaming - TitanFall Xbox One vs. PC Screenshot Comparison (Worst looking next-gen game ?)

It's much more difficult for developers to utilize all the bells and whistles of high-end hardware, when also making a game for last gen hardware, and absurdly low PC requirements. Remember, the minimum is a Core 2 Duo, 4g of RAM and an 8800GT. Many things get tossed out during the design phase, because of limitations like this.

If the game's fun, then it really shouldn't matter. I've got over 250 hours into Payday 2, and that's not setting any benchmarks...for anything.

If the graphics are not much better than on the 360 what exactly is supposed to make a bunch people run out and buy a new console just to play it (like many thought would happen). Look at it this way, if COD Ghost or BF4 did not make shooter fans upgrade (and BF4 was MUCH better on gen 8) why is this going to. If one is consider a PS4 but this one game is hold him back what is to prevent him from just getting it for the 360?

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

This looks no better than Resistance 3 on the PS3!!

Are they investing less into the graphics departement because the game won't sell as much, since it's exclusive and all?

Maybe Resistance 3 looks better http://www.ign.com/images/games/resistance-3-ps3-37866/4fa6cb68cdc388ed13f5d8e7

but it's a different kind of game, and at least it is fun to play. Also the PC version is not looking very good, what kind of GPU or settings they used ??? Maybe a low end PC or low settings ?

Damn, is that how it really looks? Suddenly, the insider who said the X360 version looks really close to X1 doesn't seem that far fetched.

he was right, but in the end  gameplay is what really matters.  If it's really fun to play, I will get on PC, we'll see.

I do hope that the next tier of games will bring a bit more to the table. And Im not talking about graphics. Im still often impressed by 360/PS3 games, but those screens are dull when it comes down to colors :|

still looks better than the PS4 version :p

makes me lol at the article calling it the first next-gen shooter. A game that's on 360 and PC. which still looks bad maxed out on PC. the gameplay should be fun enough to make up for it. But why buy X1 to play it? it should look a lil bit better on X1 thats all. gameplay should be the same.

Heh, I know you meant this as a joke, but I can't help but chuckle when I read this response.  Because there's a whole lot of room between nothing and a game that exists.  So, in essence, it could mean that it's just barely better than nothing.  Either way you look at it, it's amusing. :)

Looks about the same level as CoD. I never expected this game to be a graphical powerhouse.
