you just need to bring a somewhat tweaked 2.0 version to ps4 (maybe free to play) and i'm sure hardly anyone will cry a single tear after titanfall.

They don't need to outbid them. Those 5 million PS4 owners have more money than MS is willing to pay. EA won't ignore them.

Sony only needs it if TF1 becomes a system seller and starts to show grow patterns of CoD, both of which are still unknown. I doubt they'll care if TF tanks and/or Destiny becomes a huge seller on PS4 later this year. That'll be the shooter equivalent on PS4 eventhough it's multiplat, it'll be marketed as a PS4 exclusive like how CoD on 360 was but with true exclusive content, not timed.

i really think sony should try and focus on its own unique exclusives like a few last gen forgot unreleased games for starters agent, last gardian, 8 days, and gorrila nation instead of worrying about a game with no SP and a MP that looks like crysis halo and cod mixed together, isnt it set in stone that titanfall cant come to ps3 and 4?

unless MS buys it titanfall2 most likely will also come to PS4 just b/c of the sheer market share PS4 will have and it would be respawns best interest to release it on that platform

I think MS is putting way too much stock in Titanfall; I think it will do good but no where near the "CoD" levels people(mostly just fans) are thinking it will do. and judging from the VGC's pre-order charts the XB1 version will have to be it's saving grace as the PC/360 don't seem to be that hot compared to where the XB1 version is at.

only time will tell...though I think EA will be to greedy to have to as a "exclusive" branded game, and neither will MS want to keep shelling out money for it to stay that way. If I was Sony I wouldn't go at this aggressively; just let their console sales do the talking, Sony seems to be in a position to have a commanding lead by this years end, EA will definitely be watching specially if the trend of EA games selling more on PS4 continue.

There is just one rather big problem with that.  If you want to look at the recent NPD number than nearly half of all console game sales are on Xbox (360 + One).  With Wii, WiiU, PS2, PS3, PS4 splitting the rest. 

Surely TitanFall will bost Xbox Ones sales.  It may be like Halo on the original Xbox, the game people buy the console to play.
