As of now, I would project that the ps4 will sell A LOT better than the xbox one. But it's unlikely that we'll ever see the ps2 level domination again.

PS4 took 60% market share of sold consoles last week. With no Japan sales.
that will push it to around 70%ish. Ps2 like dommination is exacty what is happening, we are seeing it just look at Europe its already there.

We might see that market share domination (although is way too soon to secure it). PS2 level sales is hard to happen again.

ps2 outsold the xbox 7 to 1. The most sony favoring nations (aside from Japan of course) still aren't THAT one sided. I think the ps4 is going to win by a landslide, but not THAT much of a land slide. It's also to early into a gen to really evaluate. I think the ps4 is definitely going to win, but I don't think we can guess as to by how much for at least a year.
Xbox One could gain some serious traction back by having 2 SKU's
1. A Kinect-free version for $399....so it's on even pricing with the PS4.
I don't have a next-gen console yet, but as it stands I'll be buying the PS4 because it's better priced...but, if before I finally buy a PS4, XB1 comes out with this model, that would bring me to a 50/50 toss up where I base my decision on which console more of my friends have. Right now I'm 99/1 in favour of PS4.
2. The current $499 with Kinect bundle. Or they could even just sell it at $400 + the cost price of Kinect...whether that's $450, $475...whatever...for those who actually want Kinect. I don't, in case you haven't noticed.
Way to early to make that call.
Once Titianfall hits you will see a massive spike in XB1 sales.
I still think ps4 will win this generation but that gap will be pretty close.
All I'm saying is, I heard somebody ask for a Wii U when I was in Target yesterday.Don't count out Nintendo.

It's been out for close to 4 full months and the only thing that's stopped people from buying it after the holiday season is it hasn't been in stock.
With price drops and major exclusives, it's only going to get better. Only fanboys of the other systems continue to try to downplay it otherwise.
