Xbox One could gain some serious traction back by having 2 SKU's
1. A Kinect-free version for $399....so it's on even pricing with the PS4.
I don't have a next-gen console yet, but as it stands I'll be buying the PS4 because it's better priced...but, if before I finally buy a PS4, XB1 comes out with this model, that would bring me to a 50/50 toss up where I base my decision on which console more of my friends have. Right now I'm 99/1 in favour of PS4.
2. The current $499 with Kinect bundle. Or they could even just sell it at $400 + the cost price of Kinect...whether that's $450, $475...whatever...for those who actually want Kinect. I don't, in case you haven't noticed.
