My question is which game has more multiplayer online play activity than Halo 2 did on Xbox back in 2004-2005
Wii U's online is actually just fine. The fact that it doesn't have a dedicated service such as Xbox Live, seems to bother some folks. But otherwise, the notion that Wii U has "bad" online, is a myth.

Because it'd be a glitch ridden mess with players moving all over the damn map. PLatformers are frame by frame games. Those dont work online. They're those pixel perfect types of games. Are you even aware of how online works for games? Do you know how FPS's work online? Fighters? God dammit people, educate yourselves Play 3D World through an Xbox One and even that affects the game. Heck some people even have problems playing 3D World locally. Online it'd be a hell fest. You need to design the phsyics in a completely different manner ala trine 2 if you want a competent online platforming game. |
Although this is a troll poll i agree with him. 3D World should have online multiplayer as an option. If you dont like it you dont need to touch it cause its an OPTION. Even if its buggy you release fixes and patches to fix it, its demonstrated in almost every online game and that is no reason to refuse to put an option that real fans were asking for. Nintendo is known for taking advantage of their hardware the most and raising the bar in terms of standards when it comes to gameplay and graphics (although they have not since the Wii). There are no logical excuses as to why they could make mini game experiences in abundance that no one asked for (warioware, wii party u and Nintendoland <----although this one was surprisingly good) yet cant figure out how to put an optional feature in a game.

Xbox by far. Gamertags is a great thing, not a random number. |
You Reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaally don't know much about the Wii U, right? It supports a Nintendo Network Id, gamefriends numbers day are over.
I never owned an Xbox, but I would assume Wii U's is better.

You think 4 players playing online at the same time is going to lead to a glitch ridden mess? I could go on Planetside 2 and play with thousands on one server and you think Nintendo can't pull of 4? I think you're the one who has no idea how online works for games. |
Omfg are you serious? Have you ever played an FPS online? Do you know the amount of coding that goes into the illusion of what you see? Of how the games physics interact?
You cant do that in a platformer, fighting games do this form of " netcode cheating" too. They hide them (input reactions, changes, all sorts of calculations that go into this) directly in the animation phases.
When I say a platformer is a frame by frame game I mean the game calculates it directly to each frame. Have you even played 3D World in co-op, with 4 characters who cant coordinate your going all over the place while you sit in a bubble off screen. Thats not fun. And the game renders 20 characters on one screen at a time max ( double cherry limit)
Stop being ignorant, READ. The link I gave you offers you some insight into it,have some initiative and go look shit up instead of making a fool out of yourself.

I dont care about online. Im telling you people what goes into the ACTUAL dESIGN OF THE GAME AND YOU"RE NOT LISTENING.
READ GOD DAMMIT. http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/186457/One_way_to_tackle_online_multiplayer_in_platforming_games.php
I could care less about whether or not it has online, Im telling people the reason platforming games dont have fucking online modes to begin with.
Ya I remember Halo 2 in 2004 and think that it would hold its own against Nintendo 10 years later.

Not even FF14 sold 500k XD
And Like I said Pokemon , if you're playing online you have to activate the PSS ( which takes you online), which has nearly 6 million poeple on at a time
