Halo 2...that is all.

That's a good point, Nintendo's premiere 1st party title (Mario 3D World) doesn't even have online support. At least the new Smash Bros will have it.

Platformers and online dont have much in common. And Super Mario 3D World has online ghosts and Miiverse. Mutliplayer is multiplayer, dont pick and chose

So what if I want to play 3D World with my friend who lives in another state? Should I buy a plane ticket or just play against his ghost? There's no excuse for Nintendo not to be supporting their titles with online multiplayer if it already has co-op.

Wii U if you go head to head.

For its time, OG Xbox by 100 miles. It blew the PS2 away, was a little ahead of the Dreamcast, and uh yeah there was also the GCN I guess. Meanwhile the Wii U is extremely far behind the Xbox One, and I assume PS4 (can't say for sure, haven't spent much time online on it).

Where do people get this shit XD?

Give me some features xbox has in terms of online that wiiu doesnt

Stability for massive multiplayer traffic.

Thank you, you remember.

Can you name me a platforming game released in the last  2 years with online support?

Not rayman, not Knack, not any of the ones Nintendo's released, Not even damn Sonic Boom has online. And you know who was at the forefront of online back in the day? SEGA. Sega is the king of online. And they're not even doing it.

Little big planet and RAtchet and Clank both had terrible online, the various indie games that tried online in platformers were very very bad at it

Online and platformers in general dont mix due to how they're designed

The order should have co-op btw.

So something the 3DS has?

Come on you got better than that dont you?

What game on 3DS or Wii U has as much traffic as Halo 2?

I dont know how much traffic Halo 2 had, but eh Mario Kart? Kid Icarus? Pokemon X&Y? ( This game has 12 million copies sold already)

XD

That's not what I mean by "traffic". I mean people online playing matches together at the same time. Does Nintendo ever put up their online activity like Xbox Live does?

If a game has co-op, then it should have online. Why limit us to couch play? What's wrong with a game having extra options?

Lol no, try again. You think ANY of those games really have more people online than Halo 2 did? I mean come on, you listed Mass Effect 3 and Deux Ex?? Besides, I'm not even sure how 3DS games got in this conversation lol doesn't this say Wii U vs Xbox?
