Hum yah, said on paper but I was not really trying to make a point believe me :) It is more powerful in reality, not going to argue.
But you got my point about the experience/gameplay vs stats/metrics for some people out there!

I personally think Xbox One is overhyped.  But that's only because I'm not interested in anything it has on it right now.  People like something you don't like.........just get over it!

There are two main reasons (which actually tie into one main reason) as to why I believe it's doing so well.

The first is that there is mad hype around the machine so it's selling crazy because of that and the second is it's been so long since the last console release that there are more people that want to jump and purchase it right away because they've been anticipating next gen gaming for a while now.

Because games are coming out this year as is for the Wii U which every Nintendo fan is conniving people to buy.

Well, purchasing one now or in some months for games like infamous, The Order and Destiny won't really make a difference because I don't think that there will be a slimmer version anytime soon so that you can also buy one now but what I also don't understand is why people invest like hundreds of hours to find one for them. It is really not that hard to wait simply some more months to get exactly the same console with the same games and then also some games really worth to buy a console for and not games released on PC and last gen and very few exclusives which maybe 10% of actual PS4 owners really had to buy the console for because they are huge fans of these games.

That would be obviously also the case with Xbox One but you already get it without wasting so much time to find one.

I think most people know 95% of games come to both platforms so people will naturally opt for the cheaper one reguardless of power. The fact that the cheaper one for the first time ever is the most powerfull is just icing on the cake.

Remember the best selling franchises are the multiplat ones. The exclusives games are great too but they both get enough good ones that it matters little. 

Hype for next gen and it has received more hype than Xbox One. In other words, it is the popular choice. Its like people buying an iphone. You buy it because it is popular, sure its a good product, not saying it isnt but popularity sells things.  It's the "cool" product.

As for games, PS4 has multiplat games which are more popular than first party games. Im sure people are enjoying games like CoD, BF, Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider, soon to be thief, etc. Plus im sure more than a few people are looking forward to InFamous, The Order, and DriveClub.

No i dont believe it has some amazing lineup and it seems to be a universal opinion but it certainly has good games. Im sure sony is announcing more as well so my guess is it will have a good future ahead.

The PS4 is a very well built (and thought-out) peice of kit. I want to get a XBO in the future to play DR3.. but from a tech point of view the XBO is really quite a poor peice of kit. Controller, needs batteries, kinect is big, console, the one box but you need to connect multiple boxes. The Hard disk, only 500GB and you cannot upgrade it... 3rd party headphones, need a £25 connector. So if you take that into account, and then that it costs more and has Kinect which has yet to be given a reason to exist... you can see why many are prefering PS4 first. If something big/good comes out, then its possible more people will double dip.

The no games statement that does the rounds is pretty silly. Of course there are no games if you dont like those games, but to suggest out of the 30 odd games there are that there are no games cause a single person doesn't like them, well duh.
