Never cared for Diddy in Smash. I think he is lame to use, and annoying to fight against. But I think he will return, by himself.

Diddy Kong will almost certiantly return due to the upcoming release of the new Donkey Kong game. I think Dixie Kong will be added too and if Nintendo is feeling extra generous they will also add in Cranky Kong!
