Forums - Politics - North America versus Europe - who would win in an all out war?

North America or Europe? - continent wise

North America 320 50.24%

Europe 313 49.14%

Total:633

I'm going to try to say this without being offensive. Most European countries have been out of wars for so long that their armies would get straight up steam rolled by the United States alone. And there are some other European countries that were involved in middle eastern wars but only were in the green zone (another words, they were there just to save face without actually doing anything). I never thought I'd see the day when the French have more recent military experience than 3/4's of Europe. The Russians have to deal with frequent terrorist attacks from radical muslims and from secessionists. The British would be in an endless debate about whether to join the war and if so what they should do (they've been aligned with U.S. for a very long time and would be totally confused by the concept of fighting against us I personally think). This leaves the French as the only true threat.

If Europe tried to invade North America, you would never see Republicans and democrats (U.S.) and drug cartels (Mexico) and the freaking Quebecians/Canadians more united lol.

The US already have a foothold. They have military bases around the middle east regions, which is close to Europe, and they have better technology.

I mean these are folks that play CoD and Battlefield nonestop. Just check out the sales!

That is wrong on many levels.. ok just one level - most of Europe is aligned with U.S. through NATO, not just the UK.

Depends on lots of things. Most importantly who is attacking who?

If it is ANYONE else attacking the United States then i is a win for North America.

Definitely. Invading or occupying the USA is impossible. There are ~250 mil guns in the US... 89 guns per 100 residents. Instant, well-armed (but untrained) civilian forces.

I guess Europe or North America wins this. The real winner, however would be Asia, as they would dominate the Market.

I think some of you are under estimating the power of the United States Military. This is a comparison with the US  (1st ranked military) and the UK (5th ranked military)...

The U.S. has already won this war. Why do you think no one does shit about us having spies on their countries. They can only bitch and then put their tail between their legs when the US gets mad at them.

Well i can tell you that US military industry complex is booming and with all the weapons it would be close. However This will never happen. International corporations don't want this, unless you are fighting a poor country with no Economic effect, then it will. They need someone to sell all the weapons too.

I for one think all this militarization needs to stop.

But if we piss off enough countries, eventually we will be alone. Us vs everyone else, that's a war we cannot win.
