I love Tales of Symphonia. One of the best games available on GCN. And one of the few games I've played that deserves a prequel.

Oh such a great game. Still my favorite Tales game although I really liked Xillia and Vesperia too. Can't wait to play the HD version in a few weeks.

....I still can´t imagine how someone would rank Abyss above Symphonia.

Abyss wishes it was half as good as Symphonia...the cast was worse, the story too

...not to mention the second half of Abyss that forces you to visit all the towns you have been in already again.

I wish I could play Tales of the Abyss but it's a game very difficult to find where I live and my parents would get annoyed if I bought something on the internet (and I'm 21 XD)

This was the game that got me into the Tales games.

I could never get past that stupid ass puzzle in the wind temple but i still loved what i played.

Probably my favorite game in the series (bear in mind that I haven't touched Xillia yet). I'd give it an 8.

My favorite tales game in the series. Loved the characters, world, Music, story, and battle system. ive beaten it more times than i can count. Can't wait to give it another go in HD. Also Legendia doesn't deserve all that hate it has some pretty cool characters and a interesting world and plot, but its battle system and random encounter rate are sometimes to tedious.

I´m not Basil, but yes.

It is the best Tales game, battle system might feel a tiny bit dated if you are used to the newer games, but a non issue if it is your first.

Graphics are still decent, it runs at 60fps.

The GameCube original still holds up.....just stay far away from Dawn of the New World (the sequel on the Wii)
