Most people rate Abyss higher because technically, they consider it the better game.

The sequel is such a downer. Never finished it, tried to multiple times.

Why do you give characters only an 8/10???!

All the characters in ToS are awesome. Raine <3 is the best

Abyss is higher o.o. I actually love Abyss more than Symphonia mostly cause of the characters!

Jade is awesome!

I havent played the sequel to Symphonia though I had the chance to get it - didnt bother but glad it comes with Chronicles!

Jade's a dick and there's waaaaaaaaaaaay too much pseudo-technobabble in the game, much of it coming from him . The princess, whatever her name was (Natalia?) was the best.

The graphics deserve more than an 8/10, they look really beautiful especially on a tube TV.

I actually kinda enjoyed Legendia. Though I kinda forced myself to beat it. I still think Jay was an awesome character though.

and If you thought Luke (at beggining of Abyss) was a terrible protaganist just wait until you you play as Emil in Symphonia 2.

Raine was awesome but her little brother not so much ;(

I also felt that the support characters and some of the characters that came afterwards (i.e. Regal) were just forgettable and not very interesting.

 

My favorite characters in ToS are Raine and Sheena in terms of personality but whom I used in party were

-Lloyd
-Raine
-Genis
-Colette/Kratos

Regal wasn't that interesting but Presea really was, especially how she was used for experiments and the story of her sister. Zelos was really funny and definitely not forgettable.

Yeah he was harsh on Luke but I loved the conversations between the characters.

Ironically I found Natalia to be my least favorite in the characters in TotA (dont hurt me T.T).

My party consisted of

-Luke
-Guy
-Jade
-Tear

Mieu is awesome btw xD

Mieu is awesome, fact.

Played as Natalia in the game, was most fun Guy is also great. Tear's not bad.

Everyone else must be purged.

Very much looking forward to Tales of Symph on the PS3! Never played the second one.

My favorite is still and will probably always be Abyss followed by Legendia (regardless of who made it).
