honestly i dont know why it matters. Apologists will claim that critics didnt get it and bash scores anyway. So why does it even matter at this point?

How did the 2D Sonic 4 do? Does it count?  It's not 3D but it's gen 7, at least.

Its not being made by sonic team, so yes.

well true that, even though i wasnt one of them. I do like Sonic games (especially the originals and Sonic Adventure 1+2) but i guess im not a hardcore one(like i am with pokemon for example). I will admit though Sonic Lost World did impress me first time cuz of how much it look like a SMG rip off lmao! Sonic Boom is looking great, hopefully big red button can make this a huge hit, (in terms of popularity and most important gameplay!).

Sonic sucks now, ever since they moved it to Nintendo systems they have taken all the blood out.
