Belive me, the game isn't as bad as people make it out to be. If you like Sonic chances are you will like this one!

Sonic Generations was move towards that with Sonic as only playable and secondary characters moved to the back ground.  I don't mind the cast as long as it doesn't interfere with the game.

I'm really excited to see what this is about, Sonic is one of my favourite franchises. I love their games, even if everyone takes a piss on them.

I liked Generations too, but by dumping the rest off they can focus more on how to make Sonic into a better game and franchise than trying to do just that while juggling all that baggage along with it.

Sonic and Knuckles was probably the final point where they should have added characters into the mix.

I have played so many Sonic games and outside of Sonic, Tales, Knuckles. M. Sonic and Eggman I couldn't tell you who the other are, nor do I care.

Well, I know who Shadow is, but I don't care for him either.

Could it just be the DLC for Lost Worlds?

Well, there are many shitty/ mediocre Sonic games out there such as Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 06, Sonic Unleashed, the Storybook games, Sonic 4 Episode 1( Episode 2 was pretty enjoyable at times) so that's why the franchise gets some hate.  There are still many Sonic fans that  enjoy the franchise will support it by buying every game that comes out ( good or not).

Yeah, that is what ultimately put me off Sonic. Going from the sales of the last Sonic game I don't think I am the only one. How Sega makes money on Wii U Sonic games is a mystery.

That's why if this is another Wii U exclusive I would be very surprised.

True but lately we had some good ones! Generations and colors where pretty good! And Sonic Lost World isn't as bad as "proffessional critics" say. I have faith for this annoncuement!
