Just played for 20min and already got scared 5 times :(. Headset is a must for this!

I bet you can't list any console launch with more games and genre than PS4... because it was a record.

Yeaaaaaaaaahhh... it is... I don't give details in OP because part of the experience is play it without know about.

I have my latest save file set up with the Robot sitting outside the Adventure mode door, so I can get all the trophies if I want, but I really don't want to go back to that game.

To me, the structure is entirely broken. Sure, the whole permadeath thing heightens the tension, but it mostly just means that you have to spend another 30 mins getting to days 8-10 when stuff starts to get vaguely interesting. But even the interesting parts with the science machine and stuff generally just involve wandering around and picking up things. The combat is rubbsih and once you've played the game once you have basically seen everything interesting that the game has to offer

That's what I mean. It was great for a launch, but let's not pretend that it has enough games yet. No console has this early in its life. Second Son and Watch_Dogs will make things a lot better though

Lololololol the Xbox one has games.. The ps4 doesn't.. Forza and ryse > outlast and killzone

The only possibility of a change to this is if I am underrating Dead Rising, I have limited experience with it, though I thought Dead Rising 1 and 2 were terrible

played this on PC. i thought the beginning (first 45 minutes-ish) was brilliant but it pretty quickly fell into the whole "stuck in dark room with an objective to complete and a wandering monster to avoid, die enough times to memorize the AI pattern" and it got really, really old. also the ending is absolutely awful but man the game does have some brilliant moments.

Im download ing now, 4.7gb ive deleted dont starve its shyte lol.

This game is scary. I am almost surprised they ps+ day 1'ed a game this over the top. About halfway through, liking it so far.  When dude sitting on vertical bed peaked his head around the corner of the bed just sitting there I almost fell out of my seat.  One of few games I could actually see the "don't play if you have heart conditions" warning actually being a real thing.
