man i played a bit last night, pitch black and my pulse elites. Holy shit did it scare me. I needed to stop for a smoke at one point. I think its the combination of no weapon(which as gamers, guns are almost a safety blanket) and having to play as that character, where during a horror film your mind is saying "why the fuck are you going in there.. oh shit, dont do that..". You are forced to keep pushing forward.

The only possibility of a change to this is if I am underrating Dead Rising, I have limited experience with it, though I thought Dead Rising 1 and 2 were terrible

Supposedly on insane mode there are no checkpoints, no saving, and 1 death game over. From my playthrough of 1st half of game, this seriously seems like it would be impossible! I am playing on Hard (2nd of 4 difficulties) and have died a ton.
