Good call on EU for PS3, I completely forgot about that.
Still, I don't think the home console market is that much worse. I believe most of this decline is due to the rise of smartphone gaming, which had a big effect on dedicated gaming handheld sales.
If we factor tablets, pc and smartphones into the equation is the gaming industry really that much worse than in 2007? I know people like to ignore tablets and smartphones so we don't usually get those factored into discussions here.
