1. You should not have bundled the currencies like that. I mean the british pound sterling is not comparable to the american dollar.

2. Even if people are just clicking the currency/price that applies to them it still makes your poll meaingless.

3. I aint trying to be a jackass but you should really recosider your poll.

1. I know, and it's not exact science. It's just to point out some prices.

2. And in reality a game that cost $50 in the USA will cost £50 in the UK, as how the market works today. So I feel that the simplified answers I gave to my questions are fair enough. I just did what the gaming market do every day. :) So "even if people are just clicking the currency/price that applies to them" it does make totally sense.

3. No problem. I just made it simple so everyone would understand it easier, even if the conversion is not 100% accurate. Like I wrote on the bottom of my post "Not the exact conversion but you will get the point.".

Excuse my spelling. I have a new usb keyboad ad it has a mid of its own.

OK i kind of get where you are comming from but i would assume that many people on vgc would see the currencies and decide not to answer. Not tryng to grill you. Just giving you an helping hand.  I can see ths hread has not really got of the ground and I may have pointed out the reason why.

Its the internet so it does not have to be 100% mathematically correct but i would say it is a blunder to assume people are going to understand what you mean when you hve all those currencies labled next to each other. I think this thread would have been better off had you just shown one currency and let people convert it.

Bumba. I must seem like a right nit pika.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

If physical copies released at $34.99 MSRP, I'd buy a lot more on day one.

£30 or $50 dollar's

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I'm generally okay paying $60 if its a game in series I enjoy and I feel I'll play it a lot.

During the 7th gen, I bought around 15 games for $60. But I also bought hundreds of other games for around $5 to $30.

If I want really, really want the game; I'll quite simply pay what it costs.

I'm surprised to see that most people actually [want] the games to cost $30-60, why is that? The minority wants the games to retail cheaper than they are today.

I think that some of you might have voted based on the AAA-games that you mostly buy. If so it's my fault that you did not understand what I meant. I meant for which average price would be acceptable for all games. Sorry for that.

Now when I look at the poll, from my perspective, it tells me that people are comfortable paying 60 for a random Disney game, or even Knack. But I hope you are not, haha.

I have no problem paying full price for a game that I really like. On other games,I'll just wait until they go down. They all go down in price eventually.

I think the only games I pay full price for are Zelda games and games I think will run out of stock. Otherwise I wait for a price drop.

To answer the OP: I think $30-$50 is a fair price for video game software.

That really depends on the genre.

I really have no problem paying € 60 full price for storybased, singleplayer experiences like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts or the early Assassin's Creed games, Heavy Rain, God of War, Resident Evil, etc...

My personal willingness to pay drops significantly as soon as the online part takes over. Most online games are only half efforts for the singleplayer and most online modes are deserted after a few weeks because a handful of games take the interest of most gamers.

I am willing to pay up to € 60 for splitscreen coop games that I can play together with my wife. There are not many splitscreen games left apart from the LEGO games anyway.

For certain genres I didn't even bother to download the games for free via PS plus. My time is too limited to invest it in certain games even I get them for free.

It is not a matter of metacritic ranking or review scores... I like certain genres and will have fun with games that got only mediocre reviews... And I will have no fun with certain games although they got stellar reviews.
