I'm ok with dropping $60 on must haves at launch, very few for me ( of course I'd like to have them cheaper) then I wait for the magical $20 barrier for everything else.

back in the day ( cough cough ), i payed for street fighter 2 turbo for the snes 249 nlg, and thats the equavalent of around 100 euros. So the prices today are great. No problem.

Console exclusive games (be it exclusive to 1 console or simply NON PC but on every console) between 15-40. Shooters usually 5-20

Most third party games that also come to PC 0-15

The retail prices I'm okay with. But some exceptions to the rule. Like the Lego games. They don't put in online co-op. So that is only worth $20 new to me. Injsutice God Among Us Online is region locked. Worth 5$. Learned my lession with DC games. Now digital, I don't care if its new. It should always be $10 cheaper than physical.

At the Wii launch I paid 599 NOK for TP, not sure how much a dollar was in comparison, but it's nevertheless higher than US, of course. And I had no problems with it due to being both a great game AND a brand new console.

New games here in Norway costs mostly 499,- and portable games are 399,-. I don't really have a problem with new prices because there are often one or more big retailers who do launch sales. In the last year I've gotten Lego City Undercover, Rayman Legends, Wind Waker HD to mention a few, for under 320,- AT LAUNCH because of great launch sales. Even 3D World was a fifth down from the normal price at launch, so I haven't really bought games at the full price in a while. Strangely I haven't found Tropical Freeze at a great price yet, and that does even have a lower MSRP in US and such.

£30 for a new(ish) game I want. £20 for one I'm willing to try. £15 for an older game. I'll try and get games I want on launch for as little as possible, searching for deals (last launch game I bought was Tekken Tag 2, got it for £30). In the UK prices can drop like a stone, so sometimes it pays to wait a month or 2.

I'll add, I'm not willing to pay for DLC at all. It's all a rip-off.

Physical games at $30 to $40 I would buy a lot more games. $60 is fine too, knowing I can get at least $30 back if it turns out I won't play it again after finishing it.

For a new digital game $10 is the sweet spot. My upper limit is $20 for a really good game. I did go over it twice with GT5 prologue and Wipeout HD. Currently I really like KSP but $27 for a digital alpha release just doesn't sit right.

I have only ever paid above £40 for one game.
I see no need to spend £55-£65 on a game which 4 weeks later will be massively discounted.

Also, £1 is not $1, so it may be better to change the options in the poll, otherwise you are going to get skewed results.

Well said. The recent price hike on new gen games is a joke and rather insulting to gamers in my view. What really warrants a £10 difference between CoD Ghosts on PS3 and PS4? considering we now have to pay to play PS4 version online.
