All I told you is the game has virtually universal praise, so by your logic, everyone must be an Xbox fan. Can't make it any simpler, sorry. And yeah I know you're engaging in elementary school "but he started it!" tactics, that also doesn't have a thing to do with my first reply to you. To which you replied with:

Now please tell me, where have I said that the game wasn't being universally praised? What I said is that a good chunk of the hype this game is getting can be attributed to it not coming on PS4 and thus being a big argument in the "console war", that is it. That's all I said. If you don't think things like this happen then you must be deliberately ignoring quite alot of things that are going on around the net.

What I never said and never implied, was the thing you for some reason got from my comment and that is that you have to be an Xbox fan to be excited for Titanfall. That is the thing here, you obviously didn't even understand what I meant with my first post and I've been trying to explain to you through the GOTG example what I meant, but you seemingly still haven't gotten it.

But by all means please don't reply to me anymore, I basically already know what you'd be saying anyway: "But I'm hyped for the game, so you're wrong". Just do yourself a favor, the next time before you jump out at a comment to defend your favourite game, maybe take second to think if the post is even really trying to attack said game, or if it's maybe just making a comment about the stupid nature of the "console war". ;)

titanfall the definitive edition for ps4, 1080p 60fps. 32 and 64 player maps. out in 2-4 years.

it happened with ME1 and it still went to ps3 in a trilogy. it could happen. i dont think it will though. Maybe the sequel down the road will be on ps4, maybe not. Its not that big of a deal tbh.

Difference here being GTA IV DLC was announced as exclusive and turned out to be timed-exclusive. Titanfall on the other hand was announced as timed-exclusive to MS platforms and then a new deal made it completely exclusive.

Another difference between this and something like Mass Effect is that by the time any deal could potentially end, the next game would be out and there would be no point in releasing Titanfall. Releasing ME on PS3 made sense because you had a lot of people who didn't want to play an incomplete series. No one is going to give a shit about a PS4 port of Titanfall when Titanfall 2 is out or about to be out. It could actually be detrimental to Titanfall 2.

Of course, in the end you're right anyway, for all we know since we have no access to the meat and bones of the exclusive deal, Titanfall could come to PS3/PS4 three months or six months or a year or two years after March 11th.  But it makes a lot more sense for it to be sooner rather than later compared to the time it took Mass Effect or GTA IV content.

I don't remember it being announced as MS timed exclusive. From the jump, it was always MS exclusive and a PS4 version was only something that "wasn't out of the question" and something they "hadn't communicated about". And this was directly after E3 where it was announced.

I haven't seen anywhere where it was initially a timed exclusive and then MS changed the deal.

Feel the same way. 

If this was KOTOR I would. But it's a shooter. Xbox, Playstation, PC aren't in short supply of shooters and never will be.

Its already happened. Microsoft already paid for it. Respawn and Microsoft confirmed this about 5 weeks ago.

Titanfall 1 WILL appear on PS4 in some form. Probably a GOTY edition 2 years from now but 1 year before Titanfall 2.

I don't trust 3rd party exclusives; look what happened to RE4 on the GC and ME1 on Xbox.

Additionally, Bioshock should have never graced the PS3, it was a flagship xbox shooter title.
