i agree too early to tell as of now. Cant wait for Z (new region+ more mega's plzzz) and R/S remakes (it'll feel completly new compared to the other two remakes!)

i dont use a laptop (just my wiiu to browse!) It would definitely look nice especially adding in year 2! One person here thought XY was going to bomb cuz of BW huge launch (he only compared it to that game) and also since vgc overtracked it in the US in its first 3-4 weeks by about 500k-700k!

Also i wont say names but (this relates to everybody aka nintendo fans/sony fans/etc) i like how some people love to comment or make threads when games are overtracked and constantly remind us but every since we found out vgc been undertracking the game (especially in Europe + rest of the world) those same people arent commenting or making threads on it.... WHERE ARE THOU HIDING?

Its kinda a big deal too, its not like its undertracked by a couple thousand. Its undertracked by a good million!

Regarding my previous post, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I don't think the 3DS will live long enough to have another new Pokémon game. I'd love if it did, though. I'll be anxiously awaiting the R/S remakes.

Being on topic, it's ridiculous how much B/P dropped off after such a big year. It was so frontloaded. :/

Yes i agree so frontloaded but it came out  on a dying handheld+ BW2 released pretty quickly after!

I expect X/Y to outsell Black/White but being short of Diamond/Pearl

12.98mil ~ B/W ⇒ (Year 2) 1.28mil ⇒ Lifetime 14.75mil

9.94mil ~ X/Y it needs about 4.8mil to sell to surpass BW.

Realistically XY is at about 11mil so it really needs just 3.75mil left!

I think Year 2 sales will be quite nice, About 2.5mil-3mil so it'll be around 13.5mil-14mil by years end. Hopefully it sells more if there is no pokemon Z or RS remakes coming in 2014!

I've got to be misunderstanding this. You mean to tell me that X/Y sold in less than 3 months just a small percentage of difference from games that sold for 9 months, and on a much smaller userbase and a more expensive system? I thought Japan had been the biggest supporter, but now it looks like relatively speaking they're the weakest in terms of legs. Unless the sales are absurdly front loaded, X/Y stands a chance at being bigger than D/P. I thought 20 mil was just a dream before, but it actually looks somewhat realistic. Especially with X/Y having the best online in the series, it really feels like it could be huge. Imagine if it beat Gold and Silver?
