As far as technical details being fuel for the endless, bloody march of the Console Warz? He's absolutely right. That shit is stupid. But framerate and resolution ARE important factors in my own purchasing decisions, regardless of how many people say they shouldn't.

I did not even bother reading before replying, why? Cause when we had cod release where the res was lagging behind on ps3 compared to xbox it mattered, now that every game are running better on the console you re not fan of... it does not matter? Bs

Hardware moves forward. Software moves forward. It's simply the natural flow of technology. So don't defend or make apologies or excuses for things that aren't keeping with the now.

You don't need to be a tech geek to appreciate games that look sharper and run smoother.

Here here.  It's also funny how we all spent time in the DF articles during last gen, picking apart some of the most minor details.  Now that the One is quite clearly not up to snuff, we get countless posters/articles basically stating "dat shit don't matter."  Ususally followed by a "games are what matters."  Well, since the library is pretty similar on both systems, especially when it comes to 3rd parties, how bout I spend the same $60 and get the better looking, better performing game.  Again, better bang for your buck.
