In my first post I said if your done with your ps3 then this is a pretty good deal. Not everyone keeps there consoles forevor and not everyone has a backlog of games to play from the revious gen. Saving a 100 dollars on a new console that you want by selling a console that you may be done with is a no brainer. Not everyone will want to sell their ps3 beause their not done, but some are and im sure thats who Microsoft is targetng with this ad. 

Just sell your ps3 and get a ps4 is still a  better deal.Saves money, stays in the ecosystem.

What about those that want a xbox one and not a ps4. It works for them.

It's understandable if Microsoft had did this for the 360 because it hasn't had any exclusive support in years. But to tell people to get rid of a PS3 that has all this exclusive support on top of the instant game collection that comes with PS+. What idiot would give up all that and still pay another $400 for an Xbox one? That is insane really.

"You people"? I'm one of those 3 million that picked one up, but again, just because something has a following does not mean it is inherantly popular, and a good launch does not mean that the console is going to do well (look at WiiU), for all we know either the Xbox One or PS4 could see a significant drop off in sales and do terribly at any point, that's just how the industry goes.

Your instant response to lump me in with a generalized grouping however shows me that you're touchy on the subject of games consoles, which is a shame, because frankly the console itself means absolutely fuck all, it's the games that are important, and both consoles are going to have plennty of them (thats why i bought both).

Sony trolls MS at E3, so this is all fair I say.

Id say the deal makes it tempting. After all, X1 is being bought for the games, where as PS4 is being bought for the hype IMO.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
