These are not sold through numbers tbone.

Didnt mean that but still some things are undertracked here. Pokemon XY for instance is almost 2mil undertracked!

Yes, Pokemon must be undertracked. That much stock is not logical, could only be true for a big title that flopped hard, which is not the case here.

Please check your facts: http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly/41637/Global/

And that is with adjusted numbers, before that it was at 3.9mil or something.

I've been really impressed with the tracking here lately. Great job Brett.

Haha good lord, what a fucking failure of a post. Join the site to trash the numbers and not only do you get your numbers wrong, your statement of "overtracking" is the exact opposite.

As for the other guys trashing VGC numbers, you all need to remember - They are estimations on a worldwide scale and theyre provided for free. Stop getting on Brett's nuts because a few games (out of thousands) appear to have slightly off data.

Its pathetic.

I just checked numbers from vgc. Everything looks spot on. Even AC cuz its about 1mil digital. LoZ looks highly undertracked which might not be the case since Digital sales show its very very high. Same as NSLU

Only pokemon is undertracked. 11.6mil by Dec 31st and vgc has it at 9.27mil at Jan 4th. Its a hassle but me and 007 have shown that pokemon digital sales are garbage. Its not even going to be 400k WW hell maybe not even 300k considering japan has less than 100k lol!

That leaves alot of pokemon (over 2mil). But your a smart guy! its obvious its undertracked for obvious reasons! But by how much. Even if a mil is on store shelves, thats 1mil+ Undertracked!

Other than that ioi did great with tracking, its understandable pokemon being harder to track. I think its undertracked in Europe mostly with Rest of the World (Australia sold 100k+ in its fist 2 days for Example!)

Correct. I think it could be adjusted upwards by close to 800k or something of the sort. The extra stock is needed as the game is still putting up good numbers each week.

you have right...but see http://www.vgchartz.com/tools/hw_yoy.php?reg=Global&start_year=2011&end_year=2014&console=PS4 and the global hardware totals 4.7million :O 500.000 sales in two weeks...according to vgchartz ps4 has sold 337640 in the first two weeks of january ,plus the real sales 4.200.000 4.537.640 not  4.7 million... although  337640 it might be  another overtracking...

It's kinda confusing but the December 2013 date here, includes the week ending at the 04.01.14. That's where you made the mistake, it's 4.4mil by 04.01.14 and then 330k units in the 2 weeks after that, arriving at 4.7mil at the 18th.
