Resistance- 5 million if the PS3 install base is above 18 mil this holiday

Gears- 7 million the first sold over 3 million in less than 2 months when the install base was only 10 million and expect microsoft to run a huge halo3 level ad campaign for this game

Gear 2 would be my guess based on...

1. 360 base >>> PS3
2. Gears1 >>> Killzone1

 I think he was being sarcastic. He was showing Gears 2x what Resistance will sell.

I think Gears for two reasons...

Both are more a North American type of game so they will both do best here. But, 360 has two and a half times the install base as PS3 in North America, so Gears has more market to sell to...

Also, Microsoft's marketing machine was awesome in North America for Halo 3... No reason why the same level and hype for Gears 2 won't be there.
