Vita and Wii U have seen a boost since their recent price cuts. The 360 will still sell millions of units in spite of being old and in need of price cuts.

I'm merely pointing out the 360 is still going to sell millions of units, so its still pretty relevant. More importantly, its still a beast at moving software.

But yea, the PS3 price cut was a disaster for Sony and probably lost them billions. I know MS can afford to do it but I wonder how much benefit the $100 price drop would be...

PS4 looks to be on the way to PS2n the competition.
PS3 old champ refusing to retire.
Wiiu and X1 need somethin.

Seriously PS4 with some top end software will annihilate its comp, Halo5 best be coming this year if X1 wants to remain relevant at least in one market. I don't know if wiiu has anything to stop this beast from rampaging.

Sony had to do massive price cuts on a console that was apparently being sold at loss even at $600. Courtesy of teh Cell and Bluray.

I don't think MS anticipated keeping the X1 $500 for more than a year. If they do, they'll get trounced.
